Try The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch, another great fantasy book.

Myself I read a lot of books, bought or from library, in my present pile I'm reading are:
Earths shifting Axis, The Drifting Continents, The Next Catastrophe, Come as a Conquerer ( A history on what USA did after VE day... as a conquerer...)
and The Story Of Britain.

Should all get done with it by end of week... Oh also World without Us... a what if all humans disappeared in a blink and what would occur to the world..

All Light reading for me

Roger Penrose's 'The Road to Reality'.

"It provides nothing less than a comprehensive account of the physical universe and the essentials of its underlying mathematical theory"

I'm hoping to actually finish it this year.  Maybe.

I wish you all the best. Tbh i don´t even understand the popular / non mathematical based books about the universe.
I just finished John Costello´s "The Pacific War 1941-1945". Not certain yet, what will follow: a) "Geschichte der USA" (History of the USA) by Heideking / Mauch (a historical overview from the beginning until the 21. century; don´t know if there´s a edition in an other language than german.), or b) some easy stuff to relax, like Stephen Carter or J. Ellroy.
