I believe that it is covered by this message

It has to patch an existing 3.7.0 or later full installation. Point it to wherever you already have H3ANW installed and it will patch it up to 3.9.2.

To get the Full Window, try going to the Video and Sound Options tab from your Config launcher and de-selecting the "Run in Window" option.

I strongly reecommend running in window mode and not full screen mode, especially if you intend to alt+Tab to other programs with H3 active. Just like every other game I have ever played H3 is prone to crashes and weird behavior when alt+Tabbing.

A much better option is to play in a window that is as big as the screen. Same screen space, much better reliability. To do that you will have to manually edit the harpoon.ini file as the options on the configuration utility don't get you all the way to where you need to go.

At the very bottom of the ini file you will find height and width settings. Do not use your screen resolution for those as H3 does not like sharing its space with the task bar. Instead use your full screen width for width and your full screen height -30 for height. For example to play full screen at 1280x1024 set width to 1280 and height to 994.

In the demo, I used the H3 Configuration Launcher to set up a 1268 x 960 window. I could minimize or tab out and back in with no problems.
