It's a 5 players games with (by order) :

Germany : Jay DoubleYou
Austria-Hungary : myself
Ottoman-Empire : Grymme

vs.

West : wncalpine
Russia : Delyn Locksmiths
Italy : wncalpine
Serbia : Delyn Locksmiths

The last version is v12 I think.

Turkey and italy didnt fight on the same side of the conflict. I am interested to join though.

I propose the following division

West-Italy
Russia-Serbia
vs
Germany
Austria-Hungary
Ottoman-Empire

Or

West
Italy & Serbia
Russia
vs
Germany
Austria-Hungary & Ottoman empire
__________________________________

I think the first version makes for a more fun 5 player game

I would be interested to play. As Ottoman Empire in first setup or Italy & Serbia in the second version.

OK !

Please everone : send me your @mail address by MP. I'll build a list and mail it to each player.

Germany goes first. He will have to set up the game.
I suggest :
- label on (requires to edit the scenario and to alter the setting)
- shroud + shroud peak
- passwords
- anti-PBEM cheat

Be ready to start soon.

As for the game version, I use v1.16 but I suppose there is no compatibility issue vith v1.15 if some of you don't want to upgrade.

Turn sent on to Germany. I've played this scenario a few times, and almost every time Russia has collapsed. So I'm expecting a tough time of it. However, Serbia has also usually punched above her weight. So watch your Southern flank Herode.

I don't actually like the shroud peak (i assume that's what's stopping me seeing the railway lines?) Makes planning attacks that much more difficult. But never mind.

Ingame the Turkish news agency reports two separate victories for the ottoman/bulgarian forces. In a series of naval battles the entire russian fleet was wiped of the face of the earth for the loss of one squadron of destroyers. The ottoman empire has established an at least temporary control of the black sea (the russian fleet must have attacked with really low readiness).

In the balkan front a seasoned bulgarian infanterycorps surprised a green grekish artillerycorps and scattered them. 1 artillery regiment survived.

Lads, I'm getting divorced and have had to find myself a new flat, no internet for a couple of weeks. BUT I'm popping down maccy d's or wetherspoons almost every day to check my emails, and even I'm getting bored at the speed of thsi game .

It's not likely to speed up much either is it, as no one is going to get eliminated.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE no one bugger off out of this game as happened in both my diplomacy games, ruining a good position.

Keep in mind that in 3+ player games it is possible from v1.16 onwards to change the passwords of players who dropped out through the strategic map screen.

kind reg,
vic

Summer time is not the very best season for PBEMs
Jay & wncalpine notified us about their vacations, & I guess there will be some more until september.
Anyway, I've just got Jay's turn in my box, will be played & forwarded ASAP.
