"No, someone might use the battle/war analogy and er... the '2 world wars' will be mentioned'... And here we go, the thread is locked before the final itself". Please, let it survive until the final at least. Then stab each other to death.

Don`t worry, wasn`t taken as an offense, some bashind belongs to football, as long as it stays above the waistline, it`s ok ;)


Back to topic, today Holland will play Russia, realy looking forward to this game, as both teams showed amazing offensive football untill now. If they continue, it will be great entertainemt tonight. And compared to the match croatia vs turkey, it can only get better.

Somehow the dutch always lose their confident play, when there is pressure, In the group stage they always play worldclass, but in the knco.out stage they are always very nervous. They are only lucky that russia again is best at wasting chances...


Or in short: Wenn es um die Wurst geht, werden die Holländer zu Vegetariern (roughly translated: If it`s about the sausage, the dutch become all vegetarians..)

What about darts? Especially in german satellite channel format.

"Matches" are being played in front of packed halls of people who are sitting on benches, drinking and eating.

Eurosport poker matches are high class, you need to watch "underground" poker matches from some other satellite channels which are often "transmitted" by low class Croatian TV channels. What a game! Also guys with sunglasses + styling from 1980's Teresa Orlowski porno movie.

All this stuff reminded me of a true classic from the time when i was a little kid watching tv commercials whole morning

Status: offline 		You might not like the defensive style as played by the Italians, but it<s hard to deny it brought results. Incidentally, both sides missed out some whopper of goals yesterday.
As for alternate sports, let us not forget 2 more: Lawn bowling and Mini-Putt ( mini-golf), especially as broadcasted in Quebecois French..."...et c'est le..Birdieeee..."
