OK, for the fat fingered among us, where is the undo button

Several times now, I've had a stack selected then went to click on another stack (forgetting to right click of course) and end up moving the first leader to Timbuktu

It also happens a lot to me right after I've activated a leader and move to select another region.

I've search but so far haven't found a way to undo a move, what am I missing?

Simply reclick on the unit, leader or such and put it back where it came from. Works in most cases.

This has happened to me a few times and more often than not I can not move the units back. An undo button would be a very welcome addition although I can see plenty of chances to abuse it by people inclined to do so.

There is an undo button - but sometimes you cannot use it because the unit/leader did something that cannot be undone. Thats by design. If you want to undo badly enough you can reload.

You can not undo making a depot or fort and that means the command points are gone , so do not remove troops from those formations if you want them there that turn.

I have had no problem moving units back from battles or any other "move" Though I haven't tried with amph assaults.

Also if you move a unit and then add stuff to it in the new spot, you can not undo that either as far as I can tell.

You can only undo movement actions, and only back to the spot where command points were used to attach or detach a unit. To undo the movement action, just move the unit back (exit move mode, click on the region where the unit you want to undo is, then make sure that unit is the active unit), or have the unit selected and then press the undo button that appears in the right action mode toolbar (near the top).

As stated, sometimes undoing is not allowed, but usually you can undo a mistaken move if you catch it before you've done anything as far as attaching/detaching is concerned.

"...press the undo button that appears in the right action mode toolbar (near the top)".  Your version of the game must have a different action mode toolbar than my version (the one sold commercially).  I just looked for it and couldn't see it.  Maybe I'm going blind in my old age.

I've circled the undo button. I just noticed the rollover text says "undo stack move" when it really should just say "undo move" unless you are holding the shift key down or the move stack button is depressed.
Everyone should have this button.

It works.  After moving a leader and his units I had to right click to get out of action mode (I believe that's the correct terminology) and then re-click on the moved unit and then hit the "undo" button.  And you can go back and "un-move" a unit(s) after you've moved other unit(s).  Thanks for the enlightenment -- every little bit helps.
