How much longer will you stay down there? Are you feeling that you managed to adopt a little to weather?

Hi Leo,

It's around a week or so left now. Can't be too specific, just in case 'the Enemy' is reading this I'm getting there with the weather, when I'm working nights I can usually manage to cope with trousers rather than shorts now. During the daytime it's still a struggle. Probably as much due the physical nature of most of my work as to the 50c temperature. The aircon in my room has been turned down a lot now, but I've just got a new room-mate who has just arrived and isn't used to the heat

It's a strange feeling, knowing that the nighttime temperature is hotter than the daytime back home. It's even more strabge to think that back home we would be struggling to work in the middle of summer. Out here I'm working as hard, but the workload doesn't seem any harder until I get back to my room. We spent pretty much the entire day out on the pan the other day, changing an AAR pod and servicing another jet. That was hard work, we were all still tired 2-3 days afterwards.

Nope... I don't think so... Denmark will win... we already lost basketball and waterpolo quarterfinals in past few hours at Olympics and now we will loose the handball as well...

The Great Britain olympic team has surprised everybody

Can we end the Olympics now, with us in third place on the medal table

This years medals are probably going to be cancelled out by our performance in the next...

We lost power sometime last night for a while. The computer's UPS alarm woke up my wife. It did not wake me up which is unusual. I am a very light sleeper.

Incredible... Croatia won Denmark at Olympics 2008 in handball... I though we would loose (Denmark won 3 last games in games together in big competitions recently - European and World championships)...
