Installing Vista??? Why??? Did the sun boil your brain???

Yep It was cheap and I'd hate to upset Mr Gates by using the same copy of XP on two PCs

This means that you areeady put new parts in and made you new PC - congrats!

And ahhh... you intend to sell your old PC with OS (Windows XP)...

As for Vista... I really don't know any IT PC professional who likes it... also I know how to use it (and turn it into almost XP) but I still don't like it...

Well, it's installed.  It doesn't seem to like the wireless keyboard though    It's remapped the keys to random locations.  The f key is escape...  I guess it wouldn't be microsoft if it went properly though....  Lets see if reinstalling the drivers works...

Hi Gem.  Ready for a holiday weekend?

'Ello Mike, yes I am looking forward to a nice three day weekend.
I am trying hard not to start playing World of Warcraft, too many of my friends are egging me on to play that game.
As an Everquest veteran, I told myself I would never play those types of games again but it has been a few years and that itch is starting to require a scratch.

Someone talk me out of it.....PLEASE!!!!!!
I am a gaming addict, it's a disease, seriously.
If I start playing WoW, I fear i will never have time to play beloved WitP.

And if "too many of your friends" shaved their scrotums and took to wearing day-glo purple banana hammocks all the time, would you do it too?

I'm telling you! Ogame.org. Universe 23. Thread Alliance awaits you.

You can pick a playing style that requires more or less online time.

Our son is spending the night tomorrow night with friends.  Time to wine and dine my wife.

Visiting our son's grandmother on Sunday for her birthday, and then helping set up some new computers at our son's school on Monday.  Good weekend ahead for me.

The closest I ever came to an MMORPG was playing Neverwinter Nights online. Got tired of that really quickly.

I have that game too, but never got into the online stuff.
That game was too cartoony for me.

you are quite welcome Bruce.
Those type of games are played world-wide over muliple"servers" with literally thousands of players on each.
Some games have voice chat and are highly organized.

There are alot of different genres of games but most commonly medieval-type games are on the menu.
They are not for everyone, but as I said earlier, they are highly addictive with some players logged on 24/7.

Ogame? There's no role playing. It's a strategy game.
