Not really bad here yet. We will likely only get the outer edge of Hanna. Now, my father in law lives down in Wilmington. He may get to see some real rain and wind. The good news is that it's predicted to gain speed and be out of the area by tomorrow afternoon. Much less risk of widespread flooding.

Seems like only yesterday that the major lake that is the city of Raleigh's main water supply was almost empty.

We're still in good shape here, Bruce. Some reports of localized road flooding, mostly from overflowing creeks. Most of the reports of tress down, etc seem to be to the east of us.

We did get several inches of rain. I think this will officially end the drought in the eastern half of the state. Replenishing the amount that the ground water table has dropped will take above average rainfall for a loooong time.
