Hi Guys

Just a drive by in between sleep and hospital...

Josie had to have an emergency c-section after some complications. She is a little better today, but still very tender. Freddie is in the special baby care unit as he ingested and aspirated merconium (the first and second poop, which is like tar and comes from eating his pre-natal hair and cheesy protective coating apparently [they all do it, not just mine!!!]) and needs some help with his lungs and some infections. We are waiting to see if he got enough oxygen while they were trying to get his airways and stomach clear after delivery. He is 10lb 7oz and 60 cm long, so he's a big boy. I'll be posting some photos on my facebook pages as soon as i get the time to find out how to download the new camera!

Thanks mate. She got to hold him for the first time today. She couldn't manage any more than 10 seconds as she is too weak. Hopefully tomorrow she'll be able to do a bit more.
