Nice T! better not let my daughter see it or they'll be a howling mob of teenage girls after you with pitchforks and burning tar.

Seriously, she wants to go a nd see a film about Salvador Dali just because it has Edward Cullen in it. It sounds like when David Tennant was doing Shakespeare down at Stratford, teens bought all the tickets and when they found out his stand in was doing the part because D had a bad back they stayed away in droves. At least you don't get stand-ins in films.

Hi all,

Got myself new Intel i7 + 12 GB of RAM + nVidia GeForce 9500GT + 1 TB additional HDD at work!

Will replace current WinXP 32bit with Vista 64 bit <SIGH> (but that is the only way to utilize the RAM) and then "play" vith virtualization...

Mr Boole, who was filming the other skydiver for a television documentary, landed on snow-covered rocks and suffered a broken back and rib.

"What went through my mind was my wife and my daughter," he said.

"I really thought that I was going to die - incredible feeling of sadness and just how unfair that was."

Mr Boole, who has made 2,500 jumps, is now back at home in a body brace.

He said: "(The other flyer) took us so close to the ground where I thought I was dead.

"When I finally looked at the ground and realised how low I was, I knew there was no time for me to get a full parachute above my head.

"For the first 48 hours after the accident I thought maybe I am dead and this is some kind of after-life limbo, or some other reality, because I couldn't make sense of it - how I was still here to come through this?"

His wife, Kristina, who is also a skydiver, said: "For the moment I'm thinking just of him to recover, so not about jumping or anything like that.

"But yeah (I) would like him to stop doing that."

I'm actually loving virtualization. I use Linux as the host rather than Vista, but Vista 64-bit runs great under Kubuntu 64-bit using VMWare.

I thought about Linux as host... unfortunately the guest (in virtualization) don't have DirectX 3D acceleration in full... sometimes I have to do certain things on my workstation that requires fulll DirectX 3D and thus I have to use Vista 64 bit as host machine (and run all guest virtual machines on it)...

P.S.
On my current machine I have 6 or 7 virtal machines as guests - including new Win7 by Microsoft that will shortly replace Vista (by the end of this year)... I like the Win7 much more than Vista...

you shouldn't. It was very well done. I was particularily impressed by the actor portraying young Spock. The humor of the original series was well captured.

I had some minor quibbles with the plot but even the GF unit, who can never keep who plays Picard or Kirk straight thought it was a very good film.
