well it was just supposed to be happy hour but that turned into me taking care of a drunk friend who started puking so i had to drive her all the way from downtown(yale blvd) to north frisco make sure she wasn't going to die then drive back down town to get my car. after that i was tired so i crashed out.

having received more than a few bird strikes in my life, I can appreciate you pain. But consider this. He paid for his crime with his life! And the the little bugger won't go fodding any more of your engines now, will he! You might contemplate taking up birdhunting!


And consider this....the last bird strike that occurred in an aircraft that I was in , was a seagull into the windshield! I was sitiing about four feet away when he hit. I have always thanked the almighty that I didn't have to wash my flight suit that day. But it was close!


One more bit of advice....BEER MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER!

BTW, during training I do hope that you intend to offer up a sacrificial intern as an example. In management school they teach that it's very important to set the proper expectations up front. Surely this will motivate the employee.
