Next for me will be joining a local gym. It looks like I've lost about as much weight as I can expect to lose by watching what I eat, and will have to take a more active approach for the rest.

i'm tellin you distance running is the way to go you shed pounds and you get the added bonus of running behind ladies with great legs and asses and you get to stair

And I would have to go outside, and ruin my already poorly knees... I'm thinking taking it slow (and indoors) is the way to start...

Get a bicycle. Unless you're competing in Europe, there is no requirement to take performance enhancing drugs...
