Perhaps slightly off topic but I thought this is as good a place as any to answer this query :

A friend of mine is looking for information, books/websites etc on army organisations in Europe post D-Day, from divisional level right down to squad if possible.
Any help appreciated.

Good stuff will find in the Osprey Campaign Books:
Campaign 001 - Normandy 1944 - Allied Landings and Breakout,
Campaign 100 - D-Day 1944 (1) Omaha Beach,
Campaign 101 - D-Day 1944 (2) Utah Beach & US Airborne landings,
Campaign 102 - D-Day 1944 (3) Sword Beach & British Airborne landings,
Campaign 112 - D-Day 1944 (4) Gold & Juno Beaches,
Campaign 143 - Caen 1994, Monty´s Breakout attemt,
Campaign 149 - Falaise 1944, Death of an Army.

From the Concord Armor at War Books:
Armor at War 7002 - 1944 Jun-Aug D-Day Tank Warfare, Armoured Combat in the Normandy Campaign.

I hope it helps a little bit.
Stefan

I think both Axis and Allies. Just to be clear, Northwest Europe, France etc rather than Italy.
Along the lines of typical, generic units rather than specific divisions etc, although anything will be considered.
I'm guessing but "official" unit strengths, particularly for the Axis forces late war, would probably be wildly different from actual strengths in the field ?

For that matter, why not look in the organization editor in this game?

Actually why not just download it for free instead of buying? Bought version just adds the megacampaigns, the rest is free, and it's rather better to try the game first :)
