Hi,

If you have some interest for a six players GPW v.6a, just let a message here. I've no preference for Axies or Soviets, nor for North, Center and South. I'm suggesting team victory condition: Leningrad, Moscow and Stalingrad for German team and Koenigsberg, Stetin, Berlin and Prague for Soviet team.

Good luck in all your games!

Interest here too.
Never played a PBEM (see thread in main forum).
As I've never played the soviet side I wouldn't mind playing the German, maybe the center. But willing to defend the Rodinia against the fascists.
I could really start playing on Tuesday as my GF flys 3 weeks on holiday so I've plenty of time then.

Hi all,

Only one player's missing now! Here's the list :

- Ccr : Soviets - South;
- British Exil : German - AGCenter;
- Deerslayer :
- mavnb :
- Shambling Strider : If you don't mind, I'll play Soviets - Center;

I'm suggesting that you send me your email adress directly at sebastien_duchesne@sympatico.ca. Just waiting for a sixth player now.

Deerslayer and mavnb, you may still choose your side if you want. Remember that Soviets have really hard time at the beginning of the game! (Ccr just wipe me as Soviets in 13 turns !!!)

So, thank you all for playing! Stay tune!

I'll take German south if it's still free.....

Are you going to turn the map labels on?

Update :

Barthheart is playing Axies AG South. So we have :

Axies :
AG South - Barthheart
AG Center - British Exil
AG North -

Soviets :
South - Ccr
Center - Shambling Strider
North -

We'll wait for the choices of Deerslayer and mavnb, even if everyone seems to have no real preference!

Thank you all for sending me your email adress (see my last post for mine).

P.S. As Barthheart is sugesting and for turning on the map labels, the Axies AGNorth player may use the very well explain procedure find at http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1727036&mpage=1&key=map%2Clabels

I'll take AG North and will take care of the Map Label thing also.

As far as Options during Set Up, I will leave the current default ones checked but will add Password and Anti-PBEM Cheat. OK?

I think that you can start the game as I only miss Barthheart email adress. Just hope that the Soviet team will be able to give some opposition to the grognard Axies team!

Have fun!

This weekend I'm not at home. Will try to play the turn Sunday night latest Monday afternoon. Sorry.

But my Panzers are fully tanked, my Inf has got enough supplies to get them to Moskow. Planning to get there before it gets too cold. I hope.

Looking forward to start rolling. Lock and load!

You can go to each production site and hit Select HQ to change/assign HQ. The Production Overview screen will show which HQ is assigned which production location. OK?

Note in GPW, locations can only produce certain items. Check the briefing also as it comments on this.

What does wiped log mean? Got it when I opened the turn.

It means that some possibly cheated by wiping the AT laod log to play a turn more than once. However it also happens if someone uses more thatn one PC to play the game, like I do sometimes I play at work sometimes at home. Also Vic mentioned that if everyone is not using version 1.2 update the some players will see the "wiped log" message.

I'm using the 1.2 beta update so maybe I'm generating these. I'm not cheating.... really! In fact I'm about to play my turn now from home so y'all will get a wiped log from me.

Strange as I did not see this alert and I had the file before you but understand the causes. I did not of course do any silly cheating and played on the same PC too. I'm playing at the latest released AT version. No Beta's.

FYI Jeff

Wasn't meant as any kind of Accusation.
Thought at first I may have done something wrong as it is my first PBEM. The main thing is that the game is working.

Although when I do get the email saying that it's my turn I get very nervous. Wondering what Shambling Strider has done to my units. Never had that feeling so much playing the AI.
Dreading the next mail

Should I upgrade?
Will this effect all of the pbem games I am playing at present?
Thanks for your replies!
