I, for one, think there is much to be gained from a public beta, even if there is a snag in the new version. By making it clear that it is, indeed, a beta, and that user evalustion is being sought, you can deliver a better package. The critical thing in these situations is that all understand that it is a testing situation, and that things may not work.

The current version is the game "in being", the beta just that, a test. I would love to see the public beta under these conditions.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to the wonders of the internet, we had a communications breakdown that delayed the release of the public beta. The static has abated and we're now in communication again. The public beta will be posted later today, our apologies for the delay.

Regards,

- Erik

I guess with SSG, you right click on an icon and a pop-up window tells you what it's for. I would settle for a quick reference card with the action button icons and a description of what they are. I would then print it off for easy reference in using the Unit Action Buttons!!
I tried printing the one from the rule book and handwriting descriptions with arrows, but it's definately "Micky Mouse"

I just opened the game and there they are! I missed that the first time around. Those tooltips work fine. I apologize for the oversight..
