I, for one, think there is much to be gained from a public beta, even if there is a snag in the new version. By making it clear that it is, indeed, a beta, and that user evalustion is being sought, you can deliver a better package. The critical thing in these situations is that all understand that it is a testing situation, and that things may not work. The current version is the game "in being", the beta just that, a test. I would love to see the public beta under these conditions. Chuck
