Hopefully an easy question here. I think I know the answer (I know what I want the answer to be), but I really want to be sure.

So here's the situation:

Do the Japanese troops northwest of Canton have a supply path?
It appears to me that the Chinese at Canton do have a supply path (long, but a trickle is better than nothing).

Thanks. I thought a supply path can't run through a contested hex.

Just to clarify Yamato hugger, you say the japanese troops NW of Canton do have a supply path?
Does that mean that contested hexes do _not_ block the supply path, neither for the owner (in case of bases) nor the other party or maybe just for one party?

They SHOULD block the supply path, yes. They WILL block the retreat. But supplies do leak through.
