When I start a battle (25 day GC german vs AI) the program sometimes closes and the message Close combat error:"unable to open Z file" pops up. I can however start the game up again, and the game will play just fine. It can however happend the next battle.

Playing on winxp pro. Using runas to execute the program in an administrator context.

Have you downloaded and installed the 4502 patch?

So as soon as you purchase your copy of Close Combat: Wacht am Rhein, just click on the "Update Close Combat" link in your start menu folder (or download 4.50.2 manually from our site) to get yourself up to date before you start.

It looks like another program might be trying to open one of your *.azp files.

Any other programs running while playing?

Does it continue after reboot?
