It must be assumed that Sandeman is MIA so Japan will be commanded by xianing. Turn is with Ning.

The turn is redone. Seems the japanese carrier air group has some mechanical deficient so it is destined to be shot down in Changsha.
The attack in Foochow was successful but with higher loss.

Turn sent to Polonthi.

Summer 1939:

Finally managed to load the turn and play it without issues.

Russia:

Looking at how Blitzkrieg is working and taking notes.

China:

Waiting what's next.

Fall 1939:

Russia:

Looking west

China:

Stupidly did what I hope China would do when I play Japan. To leave AA alone

Let's see what America will do for us now

Winter 1940 - Germany has had enough of Allied planes flying over Dutch territory so some AA were moved in there (spearheaded by a few tanks )

vet sub had a dud. Russia seems too much interested in our secrets.

turn sent to Ning.

Germany attacks W. France in Spring 1940. The army parades through Paris presenting several medals. The (still) vet sub scores again. If the Russians do not stop spying on us we shall make them stop...

Spring 1940:

Russia:

Nothing to report... YET

China:

We need to put the records straight to the overly exagerated report from Tokyo. The two factories are still up & running, it was just a temporary slow down of production to avoid losses of life from miserable Japanese air raid. SAFETY FIRST

Summer 1940 - Yugos are taught German in school now while several new friends were welcomed into the Axis camp. I must apologize for the reload as my PC decided to restart by its own. Funny enough both times the battle results were exactly the same, i.e. the rookie sub hitting nothing while the vet sub raised US tension.

turn sent to Ning.

Germany Fall 1940 - the Wehrmacht launches Barbarossa early and captures Leningrad, prompting the Fins to join the Axis. Ukraine was beyond reach as Romania only joint late - we need to talk about that... The WA have blocked to Med.

Now we predict Japan to attack East as well but think twice about it or

Anyway not much of a surprise as we did read those plan in advance and are ready... well almost

Japan 40 fall
All like Polonthi predicted, Japan advanced towards the north with little lost.
Now the problem is US production is almost x2.

Fall 1940:

Russia:

Russia is in a bad position with not much of an army yet but we will fight to the best of our abilities to defend Mother Russia

China:

We will try to help Russia to repay the help they did send before. At least Japan will be too busy to be very aggressive against China in the near future.

Winter 1941 - After Greece was assaulted by the WA their mask has fallen - the Allies are no better but the Axis is just more efficient
Cautious advances into Russia in light of possible counter attacks while the Balkans were reinforced to throw the Allies back into the Med.

Strangely enough the Greek Light Fleet did flee to Turkey Knowing the love between those 2 I'm not sure it's historically realistic but now Turkey has 2 Light Fleets

As Soviet reinforced Siberia, Japan will wait for the spring to attack.
Hope Germany can give more pressure to Russia.

Winter 1941:

Russia:

Russia has a lot of pressures both ways. Doing what it can to have a frontline but the Japanese is too strong now to hope to stop unless choosing to let the German running around free. At least Japan as only one line of advance posible. Let's see how Germany will push next turn.

For the rest nothing special but 1 German transport damaged.

China:

China did win a great victory against... 2 Japanese Militias. Still 1 part of China liberated and less ressources for Japan. One INF turns Elite in the process. Next to Hong-Kong

Spring 1941 - what started as a normal game is getting increasingly unusual - Allies invade Greece to retreat; They invade Tripolis to face Rommel landing in their backs - after a damaging air strike that damaged or destroyed 3 H.Bs refueling in Bulgaria payback was due over Malta. Not much movement in Russia, after forces had to be retransferred to Russia from the Balkans. Subs and Bismarck intercepted Arctic convoys, with one BB getting damaged in the process on each side. WA WR at 28 this turn. Time to finish off Russia...

turn sent to Ning.

Summer 1941 - Bad news for the WA continue in the Med - Allied attempt to push back the Italian Fleet failed due to heavy Axis air cover, British Army in Libya surrendered and the Italian East Africa garrison held against 3:1 odds...

Russia sees a build-up of forces or should I say of big-stacks around Kiev...

turn sent to Ning.

Summer 1941:

Russia:

Russia had no choice but to concentrate it's defense against Germany. Sparing some troops to stop Japan might have resulted to loosing on both sides anyway. Now at the insistance of the IJA we did send some reinforcements in the East. Would that be enough I'm not so sure but it will make Hiro Hito think twice about what to do

China:

We are keeping pressure against Japan as much as we can but we don't have the strength to do a lot more but that. Anyway kind of fun to be the one threatening Indochina, Hong-Kong, Shanghai,... of an invasion instead of the other way around

Fall 1941 - Germany resumes the advance into Russia although the number of Russian Artillary is skyrocketing. With Japanese troops close to the Ural factories the Russian resource and population base is melting. Axis subs have a dud problem this turn.
