The e-mail program resets itself every time a new message arrives or the journal updates. This is really annoying if I'm in the middle of reading a long e-mail. OK, maybe the history of the Diamond Coast isn't all that relevant to the rest of the game, but somebody bothered to write it, so I'm bothering to read it. And it's damn annoying to have to scroll back down to find the message, then scroll down to where I was in the message. Again. If it were really my laptop, I'd just change e-mail clients, but that's not an option. The Rat! 3.1 detracts from the whole game.
