TOAW dumps XML Files?

This from the ODD Help files:

"Use these buttons to read a TOAW dump file. The scenario dump is a standard text file from previous versions. The other dump files are XMLs."

I can't see anyplace in TOAWIII that says anything about making XML files when doing a scenario dump. All I ever get is a plain old text file.

Am I missing something?

there is a "Dump Map XML" option under file in the editor. I *think* that's it
