Oooh, Disney is worse than the NFL when it comes to trademarks and copyrights.  Just make sure it isn't their Tinkerbell.

Todds absolutely correct,

If its Disney's Tinkerbell, you cant use it period
also.............. altering the graphic is against copyright

now obviously for personal use.......... who would know
but you can't post a sample graphic of any discription..............
and you would not be to share it via a website - email only if you wanted too

you would land yourself and the host site in very deep HOT water

I had my knuckles wrapped some years ago by disney
I co-hosted a Cancer Support Group
one of our members posted a graphic containing Winnie the Pooh............

Jeepers, nearly cost us the site and we (the Hosts) had nothing to do with it being their
But was still our responsibility as it was our site.

So Be Careful Brother Man

The irony is that Disney swipes characters from other authors, Jungle Book came out right after Kipling's copyright expired, but they had the United States copyrights extended beyond what is reasonable to keep the original Mickey Mouse films out of public domain.

Disney is a nasty corporation, and they have a standing reward to find copyright violations on the internet and elsewhere.

I think in the back of my head, i thought they might be S.O.B`S about it . Till a year ago my folksa had a ceramic shop , where we poored and casted stuff . Along time ago she bought disney molds from a dealer. After a bit , found out the guy did`nt have permission . So we had to destroy stuff we made to sell . A year later , disney turns up granting liscence for it , the same figures same style. In fact i use to make small football helmet clocks that sold like crazy . At first i used these vinyl stickers on them . But someone suggested for legal reasons. If i hand drew the emblems , the nfl would`nt have a case . So for a period . i did that till i got burn`t out drawing Besides drawing , i had to paint it on , ouch gave me a lot of headaches . Maybe one of these days post a shot of few I kept
