Actually it is her smile. I like bow girl for the best ... um! At least I think I do. If that damn "Large Slow Target" weren't in the way I could tell for sure.

Well, for verification purposes I agree to send you the original pic without the text clutter - under the condition that AE is released in time for my birthday!

Deal. For legal purposes, a birthday is the annual celebration of the anniversary of one's birth. There's one every year.

Btw, my birthday happens to be TOMORROW - so you better hurry up finishing AE!

I'll check my email for the much desired picture. I absolutely guarantee that AE will be out by your birthday. Just not necessarily the one tomorrow.

Arrgh - so either I give in or everybody here will hate me!?! That's blackmailing! But very well - I'm already in the deepest, darkest pit of hell, so I'll take that risk...

Just out of curiosity, where did that picture come from? Tahiti tourist board?? A picture you took during a vacation? On your honeymoon?

Couple of years ago, when the sig pic business started in earnest on the forum, I was working for a news magazine. One of my tasks was to contact press and picture agencies in order to obtain photos for the magazine. Depending on the articles to illustrate, I had to ask for all kind of pictures including the occasional tame nudie pic, so in this case, I was able to combine profession and "hobby". Heck, everybody on the forum was doing warship sigs with war-related fanboyisms - I wanted something 'different'.

Good idea, and very good choice of a picture.

Checking my email every 10 minutes instead of working on AE....

Not so fast guys.

Send me the picture. I will act as a sort of escrow agent.

If AE fails to come out I will send the official copy back to LST.

If AE does come out I will send the official copy to Don.

Of course, I will send an unofficial copy to Don in the meantime so he can make sure I am holding the right picture in escrow.

And I give you my word the photograph will receive the most detailed attention.

Well, back to the main topic. I can't remember if all torpedoes are now manufactured but seeing as mines are (or are subject to pool limits) I'm assuming they are. IIRC, the USN had a torpedo shortage, especially Mk 14s, and this is the main reason subs went out with mines. Is this in any way modelled or modelable?

Torpedoes are not part of the production system. As far as can they be made into it, I wouldnt think so, but I will let someone with the code answer that.

Introduction of a pool/production limitation for torpedoes, similar to the one for mines, was considered but not implemented. Why/why not is one of the many things no longer in my failing memory. It just t'ain't.
