I may have missed something but is there any indication when you sink or damage a transport if you also damaged or killed the cargo (troops). It would be nice know for me it the ship is empty or full.

Anyway of telling? During or after game ends..

Also on top of above mentioned, once transports sink, some troops certainly and logicaly supposed to be rescued, although they do loose their equipment, but should retain expirience. Do rescued troop units get reformed and reappear on one of the bases?
For instance during Battle of Bismarck sea all of the Japanese transports carrying 6000 troops were sunk, less than 2000 although were rescued by destroyes. Is it by anyway portrayed in the game?

Hi, I have seen ships picking troops out of water after transport sunk. I don't know how you tell a loaded from an umloaded ship

If you actually "watch" the battle instead of just hitting "done", when a transport with troops is sunk and the battle is still in progress, you can hear the sound of drowning and burning men. I'm not kidding here.

Sounds good, looks like Matrix did an excellent job. So after all one's drowning troops do get rescued.
Thank you boys.

One more thing, if you sink a ship carring fuel and supplies, make sure you file that "Environment Impact" report. :D

Hello...

When a ship is sunk that contains troops, other ships in the task force try to rescue some of them. Each ship has a varied, but small capability for carrying rescued tropps on the deck. These troops are automatically offloaded at the first opportunity. These troops are in extra trouble if the carrying ship engages in combat and or is sunk.

Have Fun...

If my English is not good and concise enough for people here to understand I was trying to make a cheap joke and took that too seriously. And I was taling about "fuel and suppy" but not "men". Too bad. Please accept my apology.

If anyone who have played to original computer game Harpoon, you will know where that "report" thingy is all about.

Ok so besides the sounds of death (gotta check that out! :D ) there is no offical report anywhere of the cargo of a transport that went down? It makes sense, Fog of war and all who knows what was on the ship besides your own side, but would be nice to know somehow.

I likes to know if I sent the supply of saki & fish cakes to the bottom. :D

;) Your English is fine Griffin, I responded with the joke too, should have used smiles in my post though...
Harpoon, fine game, true grognards still have it on their comps, UbiSoft supposed to release next reincarnation, but for sure they gonna mess up this one, just like they did with the SH2
and DC.
