OK after testing demo, I installed ANW on LINUX using WINE, even did upgrade to latest release, though why my hard-earned buys an 'old' version, I suppose its a 'windows' thing!

QUESTION: I get a message informing me that a sub's BATTERIES are low! Report on sub [at shallow depth] shows both Diesel and Electric have the same 'endurance' and this value is decending IN STEP {{ battery level 71% and falling }}. Going to periscope depth {snorkel?} does not appear to charge batteries.

Submarine batteries no longer charge automatically when you go to periscope depth. You must always order them to re-charge with the hotkey "R" to start the process.

When you hit "R", your sub goes to periscope depth automatically and runs the engines at Flank speed (generating higher noise levels) and the batteries charge. Hit "R" again at the end of the charge time to turn off Flank speed.

Howdy,

I try to link the hotkey page in our wiki manual as often as possible. It is the most up to date reference.

Thanks,
