i cant seem to turn the hexes off !


ive selected no hexes in the preferences and restarted the game but to no effect. is this unique to me or a known bugette ?

I have been playing without them since I got the game.
Try to reinstall.

There are two kinds of hexsides, the normal black ones that are turned on/off before the scenario begins. The other is the hexside info which shows colored hexsides based on what kind of unit can be moved through the hexside (use F6 to toggle the colored hexsides on/off).

i turned one of the scenario's on both computer. i could not figure out how to break out of the game. how do you???

The F9 key will interrupt the computer vs. computer play when the next order phase comes up. You can then look around, etc. or just quit out of the scenario. If you want the computer to continue playing against itself, just end turn for both sides again and off it will go...
