Any chance we could see some pictures of some of the British fleet train ships and/or their MGBs/MTBs/HDMLs? If not, no biggie.

As Terminus mentioned, there�s a few in the other thread, but probably not enuf to satisfy.. The Brits built a lot of interesting one-off types, so here�s some of them. Mostly purpose built. Their regular old tenders tended (nice pun, yeah?) to be whatever was available locally.

First column, Adamant AS, Maidstone AS, Lucia AS, Wolfe AS, Woolwich AD, Tyne AD; second column, Aristeus AR (an LST conversion), Assistance AR (a Liberty conversion like the US Xanthus), Mullion Cove AR, Resource AR, Artifex AR, Ranpura AR; third column, Admiralty/Dale AO, Attendant AO, Kurumba/Aux AO, Colombia AS/AG, a �local� AS/AG, another �local� AS/AG

Didn�t get into as much detail with the MTB thingys, too small to really get into, but there were some important boats that the game uses, so �

Fairmile ML, Admiralty HDML, and a Dutch B-1 ML; second column, some Dutch AMc types; Alor, Djember, Ardjoeno

There's a few of these that mean the same thing, but were differentiated for purely aesthetic purposes. AI and game treats them the same. HDML is a Harbor Defense Motor Launch, ML is a Motor Launch, MGB is a Motor Gunboat. They had some DCs and they are very useful for patroling base hexes, and resisting the obnoxious intrusions of subs, and such like.

There's also MTBs, Motor Torpedo boats, equated to PTs, that are useful for patroling base hexes, and resisting the obnoxious intrusions of surface ships, and such like.

Oh yeah, Japan has some analogues of these, too. Different "type names", but same function.
