Here's results from a game played with my 1948 NFL for MaxFB. The Dallas Texans and Baltimore Colts weren't part of the NFL in 1948 but it's my game so I set the league up the way I wanted it. (Isn't that the beauty of MaxFB that you can set up any football world you want to?) Baltimore came into the game with a 3-0 record and Dallas was winless at 0-3. You can see from the box score that he game was a tale of two halves. In the first half, Dallas could do no wrong and seemed to rip the Baltimore defense at will. The game turned on two plays in the 2nd half. First, Lenny Moore ripped off a 56 yard TD run to close the gap to 28-17. Dallas appeared to be driving for a TD when they lost a fumble at the Baltimore 27. From that point forward, the Colts rolled and the Texans were dead in the water. It's almost like a momentum factor kicked in and the Colts continue to build on it. I'm positive David didn't factor any such code in the game, but sometimes you wonder if the game doesn't take on a life of it's on.

You can see from the box score that several players had monster games.
Harry Gilmer not only threw 3 TD passes but he also intercepted 2 passes. If he keeps this up, he'll be on the East squad in the Pro Bowl.

Below are some screen shots:

Saw something simular in my recent Metro Football League championship game. One team jumped out to 21-6 lead and then the momentum shifted in the second half to the other team mostly on great defensive plays and a game changing pick-off. I've also seen games where the first half is an offensive shoot-out and then the second half turns into a defensive struggle and vise-verse, as well.

That's one of the things that has me hooked on MaxF. You never really know how a game will flow or turn out.

No, this is using my plays which are/were available at FBMAX. The file is listed as pre-60"s plays.
