Just wanted to let you all know that we'll be posting a pretty decent chunk of a few sections of the manual tomorrow, to help tide you over until release and also to help you prepare for it. It will include the full table of contents and a total of 75 pages of excerpts.

Check back tomorrow afternoon.

Regards,

- Erik

Can't wait. Hopefully a completed manual is a good sign for an earlier release than July.
Thx Erik

Why does Yamato hugger create a detailed and elaborate AAR for a game that doesnt really exist?

Great, just when I'm about to leave for a weekend without internet.

You can ease my pain providing a 'revised' preview on Monday. And I'm pretty sure the sharp eyed forumites will find enough stuff which needs 'correction' - one way or the other.

Now is the time to discuss the importance of the international dateline and it's relevance to the release of this newly unclassified document.

If tomorrow afternoon actually means later today, will AE be released tomorrow rather than in a few weeks?

Thanks Erik, but I think we would rather have predictable predictions!

Have a look here. And I made my original post yesterday, so the prediction was in fact exactly right.

Predictions or none... Seems to me that AE is closer to being installed on my PC than ever before.
Particularly interested in the "Collector's Edition" !

Very good for now.

Liked:

Air combat detail, and the importance of altitude.
New land combat modes.

I like specially the reseve capacity. It will be great if it is linked to unit mobility(motorization, non motorization). Unclear in text.

Cons:

No midgets in Allied side.
Minefields can't be detected from air. I know this is too much but i also would like magnetic minefields could be detonated by proper airplanes, hehe

note: in 13.2.1.5 says supply points are produced in Light and Heavy Industry. Seems incomplete since Refineries also produce, albeit low, supply points.
