Glad to see things are heating up.

Sweden, Austria, France, and Turkey all in so far- in that order.

Mus, you'll have to get the width of the doors at the Palace extended.

I believe we have some fine Dutch drift wood on hand for that purpose if widened doors become an absolute necessity. However, I feel fairly fit for a man of means and with my extremely active schedule dont believe that will be necessary.

What Great Britain has to do with this minor territorial dispute is beyond me. We gave given public assurance of our peaceful intention towards all parties involved and the treaties in which we did so are still in effect.

Can France then interpret this into the fact that Britain still stands by her acceptance that anything west of the Rhine is rightfully French?

I believe the agreement was that we would not object to France taking control of territory west of the Rhine, but yes.

That would indeed be a better way of putting it, I agree.
Well guess we will have to teach the Germanic Hordes a thing or two soon then...

Why then are not the former (very rencently) subjects of the SUltan welcomed in the German court?

Hundreds of thousand yearn for the warmthe and security that only the Sultan can offer them...

Oc course, they are cattle, nothing that we must be overly worried about....

With such concrete geographic borders, can it be assumed that if Prussian territory to the west of the Rhine is so abhorrent, that French territory to the East of the Rhine should be the same?
Happy to cede the two provinces West of the Rhine for the 4 the French have to the East.

Lets avert this war shall we.

And there we have it. All this talk about 'West of the Rhine' is pure theatrics. The French patently want it all.

Be under no illusion, fellow Monarchs, your land, your people, your resources and your money. They are all in the eye of the greedy little corporal.

Don't be bought by his blood money, don't believe his 'diplomatic' lies. When push comes to shove, shove is what he will resort to.

There is no reason for France to start a war IF the provinces west of the Rhine will be freely offered up.

If France should pursue aggressive wars of expansion into provinces specifically NOT mentioned in our negotiations, Great Britain will have to reevaluate the prudence of continued positive relations with France.

We urge France to reconsider its drumbeat for war.

We likewise urge Prussia to relinquish provinces that are encroaching on the natural borders of France and drop demands for French concessions elsewhere.

I'll admit that this position confuses and vexes we rule-bound Prussians.

If the natural barrier is to be the Rhine. Why are the French exempt from complying with relinquishment of provinces across this barrier?
And if they are allowed to keep provinces to the East of the Rhine, where does this no longer become acceptable; the Elbe? the Dneiper? When will the lebensraum requirement be sated?
We can't help philosophizing, as to what plans the French had for the two provinces that have caused this fracas, when they were under Bavarian (only) rule? If they planned to take them by taking Munich, and hence all of Bavaria, would they have been as forthright as they are asking us to be, in relinquishing the more Easterly provinces?

Our agreement with France was that we would allow the taking of provinces West of the Rhine and specifically Baden. But not wurttemburg.

My proposal is that France liberate wurttumburg, and Prussia CEDE the two bavarian provinces west of the Rhine.
That proposal should keep both parties happy and avert war.

Or you guys can kill each other and watch the vultures start to circle.

a) Nah, I have enough money, and the needed resources I trade in
b) You've obviously never seen me
c) But no more bound by rules and laws than you were more than willing to eat the scraps of Austria's table and become her lapdog.
d) We would actually, Britain and France have made a historic agreement, we are in no need to ruin that.

Sirs,
we will have small problem from next Monday ... I will be on holiday to the end of July. BUT, I will be with my notebook and with same Internet connection each evening. So I will be able play, but sure not so quickly like usual. So excuse some possible small delays...

Another possibility is ask Prussian Kaiser to play my part ... but I think that France, Turkey and Russia would not agree
