One clarification, I think that whoever controls a province is automatically the defender.

That is my understanding-and it works pretty good when you are in the mountains.

BTW, I hope 74 is going out tonight-these are interesting times for the Sultan.

Hey guys. How about an update in the AAR forum (or here). Some of us are really curious how this game is turning out!

I've fallen behind a bit with the AAR-it'll be brought up to date eventually.

I can tell you that there has been war, and more war; spring, summer, fall and winter-for two years. Fortunes have swung at least once for all parties concerned-quite surprising too, I might add. Once again I'm happy about Turkey's position, but I'm not firing up the bong just yet...

As far as our current progress, I think it is some socialist ISP in Europe someplace that is holding things up-can't they just move some health care workers into internet maintenance for a week or so?

HiHi

Seamus, have you tried checking your email 'Sent' folder'; but I have an awful feeling it may be Bill thats down, please remember folks he had Surgery just over a week ago and "may?" have had a relapse or somesuch, hope I'm wrong but ... ?

However the situation we are now in does suggest it would be a "Goodthing" if everybody posted when they have sent in their completed turn, at least then we know were we stand.

All the Best
Peter

A lot of times my Sent folder gets cleared out about once per week . . . but in this case I got a clear result!

I sent my PBEM 109 turn Oct 29 (also sent AltHistA turn on Oct 29).

HiHi

I was waiting on a majority vote on the issue Al but as only 2 people reponded (Mat & Seamus) I didn't folow it up.

As it happens with Bill being off line till Thursday (MV spoke with him and he is OK but his puters down), and with me being away from my puter Fri-Sun it will not pan out as too much of a delay till you are back anyhow.

Hope you have a good time on your Hols.

All the Best
Peter

This is starting to sound like an epidemic of burnt PC's. It may be time for the Center for Disease Control to declare a national emergency-actually seems like the UK is getting hit hard too-better go straight to the UN.

Ehh-too much "news" this week.
