got a good laugh at your comment in the "general forum" thread

Glad you appreciated it-I thought it was a bit funny too, but forgot to put the smiley in-:). The recipient of the advice did not receive it in a gracious manner-to put it mildly. He could not answer in the thread (which was locked), but PM'd me. All good entertainment.

BTW, all T230 files are in but one-message sent.

I would say the general situation is: a long ongoing war between Russia and Britain+Turkey+Austria is a long way from resolving. Even with half of Russia occupied, my economy is chugging along just fine and my National Morale is stable in the 600 ballpark. With ~400K troops camped in and around Moscow, the Anglo-Austro-Turko (AngStroTurks) will be hard pressed to defeat me. In fact, I double DARE you to try!

Meanwhile, Spain, and France are sitting back and presumably building back their strength. Sweden too is more or less biding her time IIRC.

Poor Prussia was recently auto-Treated back into war as part of a standing treaty we had, and it looks like the AngStroTurks are pouncing.

Did I miss anything?

Not bad. However, Spain had been hammering away at GB in Gibraltar for months suffering massive losses-but finally succeeded.

BTW, I don't think anyone really wants to defeat Russia-but only to make the Czar act like a King rather than a Khan.

I think Britain is afraid to finish off Sweden because that might leave it vulnerable to France for one month-can't have that.

It has turned out that Prussia's DoW on Austria was an auto DoW-I didn't know that was possible in MP games. I was wondering what the Prussian King was thinking. He needs to look at getting out of that treaty.

Not meaning to insinuate anything-except it just looks like King Peter has some concern about that being a possibility and he is being cautious. Either that or he does not want to defeat Sweden. Don't know-just speculating.

Peace is all the denizens of the Ottoman Empire desire also. The Venetians, Austrians, Hungarians Bulgarians, Romanians, Gypsies, Arabs, Berbers, Kurds, Armenians, Greeks, Serbs, Croatians, Albanians, Bosnians, and of course, the various Turks. Of course, there are millions of Ukrainians and Tatars that are clamoring to join the Empire too, but the Sultan cannot help all the peoples.
