Since AE has gone gold, I assume all of the artwork is finalized. Can we have some screenshots? I'd love to see some more to tide me over until ..............Monday or Tuesday!

Also Tom and JWe mentioned some 'after-market' art packages (especially camoed ship art :D )...any news on that when we can have them?

Thanks

Yes. Obviously, we can't do 'after-market' until 'market', but yes. One thing I have done is develop a bitmap list, for both sides, that shows the upgrade paths and where the open (available) slots are so modders can determine where to drop in their tweaks. I'll make these available a few days after release. Kelley and Brian have these already, and I'm sure they have a poopload of paint jobs just slobbering to go. Just gonna have to wait for it, pal.

So, should I take the silence as a sign that people don't want to see Gold screenshots anyway?

I'm sure the silence is because we all thought screens would be appearing at any minute

I'm not just going to take them willy-nilly. That's why I asked for requests.

How about the area around Palmyra atoll? I'm also interested to see the Celebes/Timor area and the Marshalls....
Thanks.

Here's the selection screen for the Search routine. Note that search arcs are NOT shown on the map (just want to clarify that)...

And finally, the Aleutians. I know more about the war up there than I ever wanted to after AE...

How about some of the air combat screen showing fighters shooting at other planes?

How about a ship getting hit?

Thank you!

I'm a little confused about that. Does that mean that search arc's can't be displayed or simply aren't?

It means that we don't show a "pie-slice" type graphic on the map. You select them on the selection screen, by use of the arrows, or on the map (by left- and right-clicking), but there's nothing drawn on the map itself.

As promised...I haven't actually limited any arcs but needless to say if I had you would see a pie slice insteda of the full circle...
