That's a long run, but a good morning for it. Where do you run? I am right next to the greenway that leads to Shelly Lake.

Training for a couple of marathons. Baltimore on Oct 10th and Raleigh Nov 1st. We ran today fromThe NC Museum of Art into Umstead park and then into greenway that continues into Cary. I have run at Shelley lake and the attached greenway that heads behind Crabtree. How close did I come to you?

What is RATO? Rocket assisted.....

The only swing episode I saw was where they attached rockets to swing to try and do a 360. While attempting to do so might be fun my wife would kill me moments later regardless of the outcome!

Hi Paul, I live at the corner of Lead Mine and Lynn roads. I'm just north up the greenway from Shelly Lake, and then along the sidewalk of Lynn road. I think a nice, slow run down to, and around the Lake is on tap for tomorrow morning. 4.7 miles for me.

I like your choice of marathons. I live in Raleigh, and was born and grew up in Baltimore. I very much love running in Umstead on the bike and bridal trails. Absolutely perfect running surface, IMHO. I've done a couple of half marys and 2 half ironman tri's, and that was my favorite place for long training runs. We'll have to get together for a brew soon. We might even be able to lure Brother Mynok over to Raleigh if we have some good beer. Perhaps after your training and races are over.

One AE Guad turn and one CHS turn completed today, along with getting into my 3rd football game of the day.    I've picked some good one's, but both the teams I was rooting for lost, one with 11 seconds left, and the other in OT.  Enjoying a 7-7 game between USC and Ohio St now.

If we wait for my training to be over we might be waiting some time. I may add Charlotte in December. Then Myrtle Beach in Feb and Virginia Beach in March. I have done 5 marathons since November last year and my goal is to do 10 by my 40th in July 2010.

Umstead is my favorite place to run in Raleigh as well. I have yet to find a better place to put in long mileage.

I have family up in Cockeysville,MD and enjoy visiting Baltimore. I am now a little disappointed by a course change that had to be made. We were to run around Ft. McHenry but now cannot due to some construction. :(

I hope you watched the GREAT game between the real USC and Georgia. We lost, but we brought the hurt. Just couldn't get it done at the end.
