Shouldn't the subject line have been "Electrocuted Log"...?

Speaking of U2 I saw them on the 20th such an amazing show. I had the GA tickets I was on the ground in front of the stage. Well worth it I've seen them many times over the years but I thought this show was one of the best I've seen also the Claw stage is simply amazing.

It will be our first time.  My 11 year old son is the most eager of the 3 of us.  We're sitting in the upper deck of the stadium, so I think we'll be glad to have the great stage with the huge video screen.

So there I was at the super-market, getting stuff to eat, and was wandering past the frozen fowls, when I look, and what do I see in the midst of all the capons, but a goose.

Well, I got some friends coming over tomorrow, so I think to myself – self, hmm, a goose, yeah, cool, I can do a goose. So I snag the goose. I get a bunch of other stuff and head for the checkout line.

Whoah, Nellie. Everything goes ‘beep’ except Ms Goose.

“Oh, this doesn’t have a tag, so we’ll have to get a price.” Yeah, okay, no worries. And on, and on.

“Sir, I’m afraid we can’t find a price, on this.” Oh, that’s ok, says I – I found it in the bin of frozen capons. “Oh, but this is a goose, it isn’t a capon.” No worries, says I, just think about it – a goose is just a great big chicken. So just charge me for a great big fat capon. “But sir, that’s going to be expensive.” Oh, says I, that’s quite all right.

So a 7lb goose for $18.00. Woof! It was all I could do to keep from ROTFFLMAO.

Tithe.

Instead of my usual drivel, I have a serious question today. Does anyone recall if the Washington Naval Treaty imposed any displacement limits on CVs? I was under the impression that it did not, but an article I read suggests that it does.

Thanks!

I found it rather entertaining....once you get past 40 minutes of none too subtle political commentary.

It did. Only two carriers per signatory nation could displace more than 27,000 tons and these could be no more than 33,000 tons. This was to allow reconstruction of battlecruisers.

Very near, in fact. About half a mile away. If the wind's right, it'll be a free concert.

.....and a cheap high.

CV's were adressed specifically by the treaty. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington_Treaty_for_the_Limitation_of_Naval_Armaments

Ok, you have to be a little careful of Wikipedia, but I believe this one's correct.
