Good morning - Tithe.

"The Thread"-newbie question - What is the background on this habit? You tithe a tenth of your time? Threadtax?

All honor and glory must be give to THE THREAD!!!

We also generally post 10% or more of our posts here.

Somehow I find that very plausible

The best thing about playing as the allies is that eventually economy of force becomes the only invalid strategy.

this was in ref to dixies post about lysanders with revolvers shooting down zeros

Ok. This isn't real.

Yep, there was no Wing Commander Humguffery shooting down Zeroes with his revolver whilst flying a Lysander. But Pilot Officer Humguffery was a real part of the Malta seige

Without a sound Japanese economy, you won't need a strategy. Everything will fall apart.

So, coming up on 35,000 posts on the AE forum since activation on Monday. That shows something... I'm not sure what...

Kristian aren't old posts in WitP subforum WitP-AE post included as well?

BTW, I hope that Matrix had good sales for WitP-AE!

Agreed. They truly deserve it. Not to mention that it also would fill out these forums with even more wackos

Hehe, I'm cursed...

The first attempt to download AE stopped at 43% and 199MB
The next at 62% and 288MB without any reason. THe file is still online and can be downloaded via browser but the download manager stopps... Maybe I should slowly understand that I shouldn't play AE before next week?
I'm going to try downloading it via browser tonight and let's bet, it'll stopp at 377MB?

Download speed is ZERO! When I enter the file's adress in the browser, it starts downloading with about 20kbyte going down to a stable 16-18. But why the hell does the usually very fine Free download manager stopp?

I'm at a loss at what to do. Maybe you could try with the DL Manager Pasternakski mentioned in his post? (http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/fb.asp?m=2184534)

Yes... Or I drive 50km to the next internetcafe...

Holy ****... Maybe that's a supernatural intervention that tells me "YOU MUST WORK ON YOUR THESIS, PLAYING AE IS FORBIDDEN!!!"

Ahhh ... you're working on a thesis, well that explains it. In 2006 just when I started on mine, my stationary PC was at the recieving end of thunderstorm-related power spike. I also saw that as a result of divine intervention.

It was good for the quality of my thesis, but all work and no play made Grollub a dull boy ...

Yes, but I always count playing witp as working on my thesis as it's about "The Japanese Naval rearmement between Versailles and Peral Harbor". So consequently playing witp or AE would be working, not playing, right?
