Hehe, I'm cursed...

The first attempt to download AE stopped at 43% and 199MB
The next at 62% and 288MB without any reason. THe file is still online and can be downloaded via browser but the download manager stopps... Maybe I should slowly understand that I shouldn't play AE before next week?
I'm going to try downloading it via browser tonight and let's bet, it'll stopp at 377MB?

I got to 442mb before it failed....

Bur the work computer doesn't have a decent dl manager, so I have to start all over again. I might give it a go this evening, we'll see...

Mine will finally reach its traffic limit and be reduced to 56k - that'll be funny, again

Tithe...somehow "all hail the Thread" doesn't seem appropriate here.

So how is AE?  I still haven't bought.

I have warmed to it quickly. Land combat looks like it will be a PITA, but I'm really really liking Naval combat a lot.

Hi Chris, hail the thread!
Two threadbrothers offered to burn the setup file and send it by post!

Hail the thread and all hail the threadbrothers!

It definitely looks good. A bit early to have a full perspective on it yet.

This is what my Royal Navy looks like at them moment These are, according to my sources, the camo schemes that the ships (or a member of their class in theatre) were wearing in December 1941. Regular grey is so 1940

Why are some of them held together with cables? Afraid they'll fall apart?

Anti-Nell devices All those cables and aerials are actually designed to catch the wings of low flying torpedo bombers.

Don't think it's too outrageous to claim that guy w/ director > guy w/ stick. Afterall, I think the IJN went to director control on their triple mount 25mms later in the war.

From what I remember of WitP stats (damn the US Customs!) the 1.1s were kinda nerfed compared to rl stats anyway.

Boss, me and couple of others going to Freebirds tomorrow.

It's great. I just have to plan and launch a ground assault against US Customs in MN, recover the manuals (maybe even read one prior to installation), install the game and I'm set.

Not if you're the picket ship, thus causing the torpedo bomber to fly past you to get to the mighty destroyers

Or they're washing lines. That idea actually had more mileage in it, but the moment has gone now

Fluttered away, to become entangled in your washing lines (which seem as thick as steel hawsers, BTW)...
