My friend has been crowing about that for a week now. Then again, he is also a recovering WoW addict......

personally, looking forward to the next Total War release.

I don't. Empire: TW was a "Total Waste" IMO. Graphically magnificent, but with bugs & gameplay issues/holes large enough to fit the entire KB . I haven't checked their forums for a while though - maybe now it's been patched up to playability?

Edited: Spelling.

You have made me very sad.

So you meant Empire:TW ? As E:TW was released in Feb, I thought you meant the next TW iteration which I heard rumors about that it would be Napoleon:TW.

It's quite possible that they have managed to fix E:TW by now - they have (after all) had 6+ months to do that. I just haven't checked if that's the case. There was one thing that was very good in E:TW (even if the game as a whole was bugged) and that was the naval battles. To call them immersive is a massive understatement. Beautiful as well.

Dang, now I feel bad about stepping on your hopes

Hmmm ... I just took a quick peek at the E:TW change-/patchlog. It actually seems that they have fixed most of the things I had issues/problems with. Guess I have to give it a new chance. It's 3rd in line after AE and DAO though.

Agreed. I think BG2 is the game I've spent most time on over the years. I've replayed it and completed it at least 4 times ...

Was BG2 the one that had an editing feature that you could design your own dungeons?

Anyone else here enjoy the KOTR series? Like Baldur's Gate, I enjoyed that RPG series a lot too.

Don't remember if any of the mods had new areas. It's been a while since I played. IIRC there was an editor called shadowkeeper.

Never got around to KOTR. Had a friend who loved it.

Same here. How they could have forked up a sequel to BG is beyond me, but they did.
