Considering how long he was around, I only remember him from Breaker Morant and Hot Fuzz.

I saw the first one, plus The Equalizer and The Wicker Man (the real one, not the rip-off), one of the scariest movies EVER!

Yeah, the original was good. The Nic Cage version was right up there with TMTMNBN.

Just imdb the original. Even though the movie revolved around him I don't remember him. I only remember Britt Ekland and Christopher Lee as evil. Both good things for different reasons.

Either way, it's bedtime for this particular Thread brother. I've basically been asleep most of the day, and I'm still terribly drowsy. Maybe it's flu time for me...

Good day Guys... had a dream about the game last night, wonder if thats natural!

I dreamed that several CV-9s had arrived, and they where nicely lined-up on Murderers Row, with their decks awash with Hellcats (what a beautiful dream).

This is a beautiful picture. Many places have the same young soldiers guarding their own same death memorial for the millions who died. I think maybe some guards should come from all of Europe and maybe America too. A guard of 2 men from a country to learn about their comrads and honor, and a guard of 2 men from another country to honor a comrade or a honest enemy and a guard of 2 men from leaders. they must be magtigs and look at the faces of the young men they send to die and look at the faces of the young men they will kill and move evey body around so evey body sees all the other faces. I think we are all the same in death and I think we are all the same in honor.

Straight, good words!
We should learn that no civilized country should go to war with another civilized again. Can their be more stupidity to be forced killing someone you've never met before? Can something be more inhuman?

How about killing someone you do know, just because they are of a different ethnic background? Do I need to provide examples or are you hearing me? Many of our Thread brothers know of what I speak...and hopefully are as appalled as I am at it.

"Civilized" is a term more honored in the breach of it than otherwise to paraphrase Mark Twain.

I stopped being appalled at "Historiker" a good while back now. They say first impressions are usually correct, and my first impression certainly was.

Green Button Good...

Meh...I should be less cryptic. I was simply answering the question "Could something be more inhuman?" with a loud and affirmative ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY. My reference was to the Balkan wars of the 1990s where we saw inhumanity at its darkest and most repugnant worst.

Civil war is something we Americans do know about...as well as anyone. Heck, we are still dealing with the ramifications of ours. It is the ultimately evil type of war.

Of course it's natural! If you're a looney.

Join the club of AE dreamers, DivePac88! It's good to have you aboard! I can't tell you how many times I daydream about the game whilest driving on the freeway to work.

BTW, that is a nice dream-CV decks awash with Hellcats-unless you're IJN!

BTW II: Nice Siggy work!
