Nikademus is neither a JFB or a AFB, he is a 'closet' FFB (Flak Fan Boy).

Extra-wide closet, in his case...

Very pretty area DivePac. So that is close to where you live ?

Only about 200metres directly of the bow of the Kayak Stu.

Wow, that is a gorgeous area.

Normally I'd say "poor you"

However, I can't imagine a Christmas without snow, so I actually feel a little sorry for you

Well, it's a white Christmas here after all. We got so much snow that the past few days of just-above-zero temperatures couldn't get rid of it.

Today is equally celebrated with Christmas Day in our family.  Around 25 of our family and friends will be here for a huge dinner that my wife loves to cook.  We'll exchange presents today with everyone except for the 3 of us.  We'll save that for tomorrow morning, along with what Santa brings.  Our son is funny.  He is 11, but he continues to play the game for us.    He knows that "those who believe will receive", so he'll likely state that he still believes in Santa Claus when he's 20 years old.

He also happens to amaze us on an almost daily basis.  He mentioned a few days ago that Christmas Eve is his favorite day of the year because all of his family and friends gather at his house.

It's going to be a very hectic, exhausting, and wonderful day for me.  I'm a lucky man to have so many friends and family, along with my Thread Brothers.

Have a fantastic day, everyone!

Attached is a picture of me taken just 15 mins ago, outside my parental home where I grew up in the northern part of Sweden. It's just 100 km south of the polar circle. This close to winter solctice, that means you have to take your outside pictures midday as the sun only rises over the horizon for roughly three hours

As you can see, we have some snow. It's not very much as compared a more normal winter though. Temp is -10C.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays!

If I was in Northern New York, I would want a white Christmas. Down here I like it like this. We are going to do some kayaking next week

It's Christmas Day here now as it after midnight on the eve. Mrs Divepac baked the traditional Kiwi/Aussie desert tonight for tomorrow. It is called a Pavlova; it is basically a big sweet cake with a sugar crust, and a soft center. In New Zealand we serve it with whipped cream, but in Aussie they serve it in a bowl of Fosters. I personally like the Kiwi version with the cream, but normally wash it down with a glass of beer.

I have uploaded a photo of the moment that Mrs Divepac pulled the baked Pavlova from the oven. She was very pleased with Herself, as it hasn't slumped it the middle as most do.

And again Merry Christmas one and all.
