Hi. Gonna be gone for a while. Friend has a Euro-sled in Bermuda he wants to go to SFO to tune up for the big-boat series. I ain’t doing anything useful, so … leaving Tuesday.

So we clear Hamilton, try to tuck under and hit Kingston, but I doubt it. Probably have to do the arc and go to English Harbor. Then off to the zone. Once we hit the ditch, gotta find somebody who will let us be fantail fly. Looking for somebody with an Indian cook this time – been ages since I had a real, real good Indian meal.

Thru the ditch and then, depending on the breeze, to Cabo, or Puerto Valarta. Hope to gosh we can make Cabo. From there, it’s up the coast to San Diego, get righteous with customs, step off at San Diego Yacht Club and “home James”. Should be a good trip.

Anyone understand any of that? Besides the Indian cook?

It's a shame Bob's not around.  One of his favorite movies is on Syfi.  "Warbirds"

I don't have to get up early for work in the morning, and my family is away visiting other family for the night.

It's a shame I'm so tired.

Late night Tithe

It appears the AI has split the KB in Jan 42. 3 CV's are in DEI land and 2 are cruising near the Coral Sea. Since I lost Enterprise I am unable to challenge either. AE is a true masterwork.

Wow, sounds like a neat trip. Hope you can find the cook you want and can get through the canal easily.

Why is that Kristian?

BTW, have you seen what this 119m "yacht" looks like - it's just like those modern (and ugly) nw warships that are now being build and introduced for several navies?

I can see them in Leo's screenshot, as well, and that is a hideous tub, but what can you expect from something belonging to a Russian "billionaire"? Money can't buy taste, and especially not in Russia.

Yeah but it would have the RADAR cross section of a skinny seagull! Maybe he intends to go into the smuggling buisness? Or get out of Russia in case of a return to the "bad old days"? I'd imagine a billionare capitolist would be 1st up against the wall when the revolution comes (aplolgies to Douglas Adams) ala 1917.
