Hi all, quote:

not specifically. The only trouble i've had with Nvidia drivers is downloading one that says "supported device not found" when i try to run the executible forcing me to go back to their not so well designed website and search for answers. In general i've heard that even some of the big wigs have been playing 'catchup' in terms of providing working drivers for Microsoft's new 64bit O/S's I had for example to scrounge up a 'homemade' driver pkg for a NetGear USB wireless modem because NETGEAR had (as of that time) yet to produce an official 64bit driver for Win7 and none of the older driver pkgs worked. Might be that this particular driver set is buggy with certain rigs under Vista64. If none of the prior solutions work and you can't roll back, i'd next start searching the internet for home-spun solutions. Getting closer, using XP drivers I get to the Microsoft Corporation screen but it freezes before it moves on. Still, it's further than I got using the Vista drivers... Martin, can you go to "Safe Mode" (or VGA Only 640x480) and then remove (i.e. deinstall) nVIDIA driver? Then reboot. Only then try to install older nVIDIA driver that works! Leo "Apollo11"
