I've just managed to get Repulse to Simon's Town repair yard after almost three months of trekking across the Indian Ocean.  She needs 375 days worth of repairs before she's ready for action again   I think I prefered the old style of not knowing   Seeing as it's taking that long she's off to the UK for her repairs instead, now I'm scared to see how long some of those PH ships will need...

One of my BB needs 473 days in dry dock.

Well, 2 of the PH BB's didn't re-enter service until 1944.

Good morning all.

Back into the Alps, today!  Next week 9° C expected... I wonder where the man-made climate change is.

The Pacific Northwest... well was anyway. Anyone that lives here can tell you that 8 straight days of not only no rain, but 100 degree temperatures is apocolyptic. Would even make a believer out of a Christian!

Had to rain check on the girlfriend on Saturday to work on my essay for my graduate school application. I feel awful, since she made no other plans that day and her head hurts a ton. Dating was much easier when I was in an emotionally abusive relationship and got screamed at all the time.

Also, got HoI 3, which I think is going to need a few patches. It's 1939 and merry old George V continues on, effectively immortal, with Stanley Baldwin showing few signs of retiring.

Apart from the fact that a single Chutai of Zeroes can't wipe out the combined Allied air forces on their own?

Thanks Leo.
This "thing" is going to take time for a while.
In France, the media usually talk of a "long sickness".
I usually use the word cancer........
And apart from it, as there is a surgery near the throat, Mrs Gladiatt could become mute... For the time being, we must wait until 21 august for a decision of doctors about wich specialist will do the operation.

I greatly appreciate any thinking or word of my threadster pals, be sure of that.
Eric

Kidding, or is it real ???
If true, the game really need some correction: i am ok for zero taking the best of allied airplanes at the begginning of the war, but a single chutai wipping hundreds of plane is sure a broke....
Think i will wait a bit to purchase AE;

Bah! I'm going to complain that I don't have more B-17s than the VIII Air Force available to me, it's already Feb 1942 and I'm struggling along with B-17Ds and I've got cock all of those. WTF is wrong with this game?

Thanks Martin.
I will try not to bore the threadster here each and evry day with this thing that make me anxious, and i will try to complain a bit about my PBEM (wich is at a halt because the sync bugs are coming every turn or so, and me and my opponant are a little bored).
Or maybe i will try to make some jokes.
And if i remenber correctly, your freedom is near an end ? When is Martin Junior expected?

I managed to chase the KB off with all of my PT boats at PH. I sent them out to the launch hex for the raid along with most of my subs and the IJN scarpered PDQ after the first day. One BB down across the entire map on day 1
