ORIGINAL: JWE Woof !! We are maybe 100 miles out, the little green light came on about a half hour ago, so I'm swapping satellite providers: death to INMARSAT. I can link to my home source, so hope to gosh this gets out. Have to say that third world countries have way better wireless links than we do; I'm thinking fork AT&T and all the little clone baby Bells that followed that rat cluster. Whoah, fun stuff. Lots of reading to do. We have a few hours to go before we make the breakwater, and then we turn the corner and tuck into Shelter Bay for some I & I and a real washer/drier and a solid hot shower. Okay - will start transit tomorrow (Sunday). We have a Pilot and between him and the Skipper, I'm just a tourist on this bus. So, have laptop, will commo. Will be good till sometime late 18th Ciao. John You guys have really been hauling ass, John! You didn't waste any time getting out of the way with the first two named storms heading toward the Leeward Islands. Enjoy the transit. I've never seen Panama. Been through the Suez 6 times, but no locks or anything fun like that.
