Corn yield can be charted as a bimodal display...

I did notice that at the time. With a resulting graphical upswing in some other indicators.

Only if I were looking for a feeling of cultural superiority! Or room and board and beer were free! If it was good beer (and it would be).

I dont know about Eric, but I'm sold.

It was the cultural superiority part that got me.

Naw...He's from France , your from SoCal. Hell, even Rhode Island feels superior to you guys!

Rhode Island has a culture? I found it hard to believe they have a DMV.

Compared to the weirdness that is SoCal, it's down right sophisticated!

Yeah , I still got a bottle of your "nectar". I'm saving for next time I need to degrease an engine!

Your tastes are obviously not sophisticated enough to appreciate it.

Obviously.

Of course the Klingons have scientists , who find new advances in war. And farmers who grow food for warriors. And even poet who write about......well, there is a bit of a trend here, but afterall , they are supposed to be Klingons Yuri. Poetry spouting flower children just don't make a good story. Earth gets invaded by ...Hippies? Sorry , no sale!

You missed the point, Space Cowboy.

Then please enlighten me.........flower child.

Simple. The Klingons may all share a warrior culture, but far from all are warriors.

Nein nein nein. It's like the Marines. First, every Marine is an rifleman. Then they do their other things.

This is all very interesting, Pas. Is it in your manifesto somewhere?

Yah, but I think I lost it in Italy somewhere ... the Antepasto Manifesto. Or maybe it was in England ... the Closetmess
Manifesto. Or maybe it was that time under a Mexican-restored '57 Oldsmobile ... the Don Pietro Mufflerbusto...

Or...

The original Village People?

So did you know about Gorbachev?

Gorby? My pal Gorby? Shoot, we're so close our buttholes look like a double-barreled shotgun.

Sounds like you have all the qualifications to run for president.

Except the positions they are sometimes elected to.

Still, the electorate wouldnt let themselves get snowed under just because one politician was spineless.

Oh, Goodness Thread that's funny!

I thought you all had chauffers for that sort of thing. I mean, how would you catch up on the London Financial Times or do the scramble if you were driving yourselves?

What was the last time you drove in NYC?

Actually the lead AW on my crew was in his civilian job a spook for ONI. His russian was very good. He'd often give us real time simultanious translations on anything we'd over hear. And he was always swearing at the other senior chief AW on my crew in Russian. THAT's were I learned a few Russian curses.

I heard about you guys doing fly-bys of Soviet ships and cursing out the radio intercept guys. From what I heard, great fun was had by all.....

No , that would be an unfriendly act. We'd never do that. They had guns and we had cameras. You do the math!

What we would do is take an old sonobouy over pack tube (the ubiquitous tubes that lined the passageways on Star Trek TOS) and load them with all kinds of goodies. Charmin toilet paper, Sears and Roebuck catalogs, candy, cigarrets, Playboys, various newspapers and magazines and last of all , several airline sized "nips" of Jack Daniels and other western booze. We, fit he tube with a streamer , then drop it right in front of the ship. They knew what was in them! The Zampolit (commissar) had a tough time keeping that stuff away from the troops. Of course we'd enclose a couple of US Embassy Moscow cards , in case anybody wanted to visit us later.

Thats a friendly act? Personally, I'd rather get cursed at that be subjected to Jack Daniels.
