Welcome back , O prodigal one! Yuri's rounding up a calf!

Seriously Kristan, I hope that things are better for you.

Couldnt find a calf. I got a chicken. And I'm having its breastuses for dinner.

Good move. Gotta support the industry.

I didnt know my choice of dinner would be such a personal experience for you, but I'm glad to do what I can, I love chicken.

Thanks Simon. That matches my assement totally!   BTW , is anyone currently doing a WPO scenario?

I was very excited about WPO myself at first. Then the more I saw peoples reaction, the more I got the impression that strategically and game-wise it was not a success. My impression was that there is a flurry of activity and a bloodbath of violence in the first few months which turns into boredom and inactivity. So I never bought the game.

Once again , I like the shorter scenarios. The long ones are , well long. And they draggggggggggg............

OK, let me get it installed this weekend or tonight. What are your thoughts on NikMod?

I don't know my commanders ratings , but they should have been good. His name was Raymond Spruance. He survived , but I fired him. I've been having a problem with him, he doesn't seem to like to fight. In a match against the AI he had 3 CA's 2CL's and 6DD's and he went up against a AK. He ran. Three times he refused to engage. Full of fuel and ammo, lot's of op points.

Isn't Spruance a carrier commander?

Cruiser commander turned carrier commander through a strange confluence of circumstances involving Halsey getting a weird rash.

I dont think you can blame the motherboard for that. I once knew two programmers who would have conversations in code so no one would understand.

Let me answer your question with a question....how would someone who couldn't get the last AE hotpatch to work, never did get WITP Tracker to work and drove you and Dixie to near breakdown in installing my avatar and sig banner install such a beast?

So you saw the movie too? There was a lot less concern at the time that a carrier commander be an aviator at the time.Halsey got his wings in his late 50's with the promise to Pensacola that he'd never come back or fly a plane again! I don't belive that Fletcher was an aviator. And with all the CV's and CVL's and CVE's rolling off the production line , they would have been hard pressed to give everyone and every TF an aviator with the approriate experince and seniority.

The back is improving , and is no problem if I move relatively slowly. Thanks for asking! My backside has never had a problem , despite Chickenboy's claim to the contrary. One robin does not make a spring , and one minor victory (his only one thus far) does not win a war. OK , so he killed two of my cruisers. We are still very close in points and I've only just begun to get my heavy units, troops and amphib ships. I expect CB will be very quiet about our PBEM for the next couple of turns!

Gnarly would be a synonym for righteous, and an antonym for bogus.
