A patient actually called today to cancel her scheduled appointment tomorrow, because "the ash cloud would make it too dangerous to drive".

I think all our Euro Thread Brothers should take "The Great Ash Cloud of 2010" as an excuse to stay home from work tomorrow and drink.

Wow. Quite the ash cloud. The benefits of fewer drivers and airlines going out of Heathrow-won't this be the LEAST amount of ash and soot in the skies of Londinium and Birmingham in quite some time?
