I s'pose Dixie. Maybe I was just getting too exercised by the wierdos on the the main boards and it carried over. Didn't mean to be so pointed.

Perhaps the evals should be left to that Zit guy; or was it Zed, or .. Zod, yeah, Zod, that's it, that Zod guy. Or maybe Ralph the goldfish.

You and me can kick back, have a pint, and watch the others have a go. Ciao.

Maybe, or maybe I'm a little bit biased towards the light blue side of things.

Two AA level hockey tryouts for our son this week for two different teams.  The first was the last two evenings, and tonight.  The second is 3 days over the weekend.  We hope to have a position offered from the first team after tonight, but don't need to commit until Sunday, when the second organization will offer positions.  Alex has worked so hard over the last year to make a travel team and we really want him to feel what it's like to have to pick between two offers, but he, and we, will be thrilled with one.

Hopefully he'll get what he's been working so hard for, when he's won the Stanley Cup make sure he remembers all the Threadsters

Perhaps, but is she Swedish?

Aw shucks, didn't think of that ... I was too busy panting looking at the picture ... ... why am I suddenly using all these little dots? ... could it be an outbreak of fabertongish as well ... ? ...

Hi all,

In 2002 the "Cal Poly" student team made the proposal for "Vendetta" - the imaginative USAF bomber.

Below is the link for their proposal in PDF (and other links regarding "Vendetta" at CalPoly):

http://aerosim.calpoly.edu/files/Vendetta/Vendetta%20-%20Final%20SAWE%20Paper.pdf

http://aerosim.calpoly.edu/library.html

It is very interesting to read how they dealt with "Stealth" requirements regarding RCS and all other aspects of airplane design!

Please note that this PDF is one of the very few publicly available documents that goes into computer simulated RCS measurements...

Looking after 4 Border Collies

1 is ours, the other 3 are my parents' dogs.  1 of those is slightly neurotic and the youngest is a whirlwind

It seems to me that the Aircobra's ruggedness was the factor that kept it in the front lines long after the Hurris were shuffled off to relatively stable and quiet areas.

Not according to Loma.

Never read. What do you mean?

Sorry meant "Loza" Author of "Attack of the Airacobras" Yes, the P-39 was rugged but that wasn't what kept it in the line through the end of the war. It was kept in the line because the Russians considered the plane an excellent fighter vs. their adversaries. Like other LL planes, the Russians had plenty of challenges keeping them servicable. Ultimately they replaced a number of key components that wore out with Russian manufactured replacements.
