You mentioned 4 Border Collies, right? Yet only *1* is slightly neurotic? The others must be mix breeds.

Ours is pretty well balanced an in her home turf. One of the others is still young and too excited by the world to have time to be neurotic. The other two are litter mates, one is neurotic whilst the other is, for a BC, pretty dense.

Plus ours has managed to cut her leg so it needed staples. Now we have to keep her calm

I s'pose Dixie. Maybe I was just getting too exercised by the wierdos on the the main boards and it carried over. Didn't mean to be so pointed.

Perhaps the evals should be left to that Zit guy; or was it Zed, or .. Zod, yeah, Zod, that's it, that Zod guy. Or maybe Ralph the goldfish.

You and me can kick back, have a pint, and watch the others have a go. Ciao.

Who's Ralph the goldfish? What's his expertise?

Inshore naval operations?

Clandestine?

It seems to me that the Aircobra's ruggedness was the factor that kept it in the front lines long after the Hurris were shuffled off to relatively stable and quiet areas.

Not according to Loma.

Never read. What do you mean?

Sorry meant "Loza" Author of "Attack of the Airacobras" Yes, the P-39 was rugged but that wasn't what kept it in the line through the end of the war. It was kept in the line because the Russians considered the plane an excellent fighter vs. their adversaries. Like other LL planes, the Russians had plenty of challenges keeping them servicable. Ultimately they replaced a number of key components that wore out with Russian manufactured replacements.

Oh. No dispute there. To be fair, they had almost as much difficulty keeping their own planes flying. As a caveat, though, they absolutely loved the C-47.
