Good morning from paradise yourself. What the h-e-Lima-Lima are you doing on the web instead of on the beach?

He surrendered to the dark side and bought an iPad.

Just finished watching the film Daybreakers. Yet another could-have-been...

What is it with you teenage girls and vampires?

I've never quite understood the thought about immortalizing the attendant teen angst and drama. Seems to me that one would want to get rid of it ASAP. Now, maybe in one's upper 20s would be a good time for immortalization. Before then, though? Eesh.

They want to show that someone understands their pain?

There's only two angsty teen vampires in Daybreakers, and they both end up set on fire.

So, for the rest of us, this would be a happy ending! I'd consider watching a flick where more of these angsty teen vampire wannabees got set aflame.

Well, some of them look pretty flamin' as it is.....

Sara is working and catching up with the staff here from 9 - 12, then it's time for lunch and more beach.

Did Flipper bring you back after you fell off the pier?

Morning guys!

Back from Holidays and a sick leave because of a triple disc prolapse

That was/is a sort of pain you can not even imagine.

No...i think that comes over years, with nearly no sportive activity and the years of work sitting in the office.

Doctor says for my age, this triple one is to heavy for an 36-year age.

A military exercise in February, a fast march at night over a distance of nearly 20km, combined with my untrained condition and an overweight of 20-25 kg may have given the final part to it i think

No way i can go this way any further....i should do now some sports, otherwise i will face even more problems in the future.

Specialy for this 2 weeks, the funny thing was i wasn´t able to sit on a chair and lay on a bed, so i have to stand or walk around most of the day. I cannot tell you how nerving it is when you cannot sit down and rest...when you do so, and you can not do otherwise at night, the pain comes back, i my case in my right leg, in a way you think the leg want to explode.

Even now, after weeks, my right feet is somewhat paralyzed.

Once we were goofing in a tank (T-55) in a repair yard and I was in driver's seat... not knowing that I was there my buddy started to turn the tank turret (and me not fully sitting down was in away of gun barrel)... I managed to react and duck deep into seat in time...

I had a drill-round ASW mortar bomb fall on my foot. Fortunately I was wearing my steel toe-capped bots at the time, not the normal Med-style pirate rig we normally wore.

@Apollo and sprior

Nice storys, glad to hear you came away unharmed

The two things i wanted to do in the military was submarine or tank.

And what i have been given?

Instead of a Leopard or a Submarine i was send to signal troops.

I hope i can get my problem under control, because at october i will be back at school till August 2011 and i cannot risk to spend 3-4 weeks in hospital during this period.
