Night and day,
You are the one...
Only you,beneath the moon
and under the sun...
Whether near to me or far
Makes no difference where you are...
I think of you,
Night and day...

No more soccer for the US, but The Spectacle continues.

Not a surprise TBH. 390 minutes of football and the US spent 3 minutes in the lead

Hi Mike... I have looked in the manual, but can't see how to put together a 'bite you in the arse' task force. Perhaps it might be called a the 'sneak up behind, and bite you in the arse' task force or maybe even a 'lay in ambush and bite you in the arse' task force. Also what range do you set it at?

Good to see you, Dez.

You'll have to ask the coach of the USA team exactly how to get it done.

Or not. Starting Clark appears to have put us in the hole we couldn't clamber out of this time.

The more one suffers, the more, I believe, has one a sense for the comic. It is only by the deepest suffering that one acquires true authority in the use of the comic, an authority which by one word transforms as by magic the reasonable creature one calls man into a caricature.

What kind of comic? The Beano, The Dandy or those Commando comics?

I recommend Camus's The Plague . His use of the absurd mirrors your argument. In that novel he describes life as a thing experienced best while discomforted.

Surely. Most of my opinions of the place can be stated in short, 4-letter words.

Maybe when he realized that his "new strategy" wasn't all that successful! It's a "quagmire", Yuri!. He only has sunk 100 ships , nothing larger than a light cruiser (he got the Boise after a vicious battle that bloodied his nose!) . Even "Orphan Anne" has stopped crowing! HE HAS REALIZED THAT HE'S IN MY TRAP! Bwahahahahaha!

Good Thread, England is being pulverised like an unescorted Allied convoy meeting the Kido Butai in December 1941!
